Lover of love, laughter + all things extraordinary

From a young age, I’ve always had a passion to organize events. I learned by watching my parents host huge family parties and holiday gatherings. Growing up in Chicago, I’d put together "Basement Broadways". I convinced my brothers to be actors in the shows, which were nothing short of a full production. As the perfect event host, no detail was left untouched: from handmade crayon invitations, menu choices of water with or without ice, hair and makeup, to scribbled floor plans, typed up timelines, and personally arranging the room’s furniture.

After recognizing the opportunity to join my creativity and design skills together, my childhood productions soon evolved into planning life’s biggest and best occasions. 

I still love peeking from behind the curtain and watching the guests’ reactions…

I live for those "oh my" occasions!

My husband proposed with a magician's help and we honeymooned to Ireland.

My own love story includes my handsome husband, our family elopement on a mountaintop, a decade-long romance, and two little boys who fill my days with laughter and excitement!

The Event Ambassadors here at Oh My Occasions believe in unwavering trust and unparalleled service from the beginning of your planning journey to the day you say, “I Do”. They come prepared to your wedding to help with all sorts of tasks: steaming your veil, sewing on a loose button, touching up your lip gloss, reminding the groomsmen to spit out their gum before ceremony, setting up your escort cards, double (and triple) checking your seat count, holding the timid flower girl’s hand, having your favorite drink ready once you finish photos, communicating with the DJ or band about any last minute adjustments, fending off any wedding crashers, reactivating your room key (for the 12th time that day), bustling your dress, and oh so much more!

The number one predictor of event success is the relationship between a couple and their planner.









We get to know your love story! You’ll share details about your personalities, and preferences, plus any inspiration images you have. This way, we can have a realistic budget assessment and begin pairing you with the best wedding team in an exclusive process we call Vendor Matching.

Vendor matching

We believe in pairing you with professionals that meet your needs, specifically. That means no two clients get the same vendor list to review. We hand pick every member of your wedding team based on the details you share with us and facilitate those introductions and gathering of proposals and agreements.


If you need assistance articulating your vision, we would then move to the design phase. This service is included in the Luxe and Complete collections, and as an a la carte option with our other services. We carefully curate a completely custom Design Deck that provides imagery and an extensive written “walkthrough” so you can understand the guest experience. Based on your feedback, we then collect proposals from companies and individuals that can make those ideas happen. Each vendor selected for you is vetted for individual expertise in their craft and attention to detail to meet the highest standards of service.


Once your wedding team is confirmed, we will move to the planning phase where we schedule important meetings like floral sample and menu tasting. After these appointments, we can begin composing your timeline and organizing your table layout and venue floor plan. We work with you into the final stages to ensure all orders and wedding documents are up to date and reflective of your final guest count.

We provide you with access to a system exclusively available to wedding planners. Your portal is a cloud based program which allows us to mange everything from vendor contracts and RSVPs to checklists and seating charts. Your profile acts as a smart intuitive hub that you can access from anywhere, ensuring all vendors (and VIP wedding participants) are informed with live updates as we plan your event!

We offer management and coordination of your event day included in all of our collections. That means we’ll be there in person to execute all the hard work behind the scenes. We’re the very last vendor to leave! Not only are we monitoring event set up and fielding vendor communication, but we are checking in on you throughout the day to make sure you are completely stress-free.
